Jolanta Wilson is a native of Gadsden, Alabama but now resides in Charlotte, North Carolina. She graduated form the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Instrumental Music Education . She also received her Master of Music degree in Wind Conducting from the University of New Orleans in 2003. In the years following, Jolanta taught jr. high school band and general music in the Jackson City (Jackson, AL) and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) school systems. In 2006 Jolanta was hired by Celebrity Cruises as a member of the "Celebrity Orchestra." To present date she has worked on 5 of their luxury liners. This is Jolanta''s first solo venture and she hopes that you all find it highly enjoyable!
All backing tracks and instruments, with the exception of the trombone being played live and "Comemore A Vida" were played and arranged by Jolanta Wilson using thr PreSonus Audiobox USB Interface and the Casio CTK 3000 Keyboard.
This album is dedicated to my grandparents, Mr. Emmanuel Wilson and Mrs. Emma Jean Strickland. I love and miss y''all more than anyone will ever know.....
