With two self-released albums behind her and a "Best of Vancouver 2009" accolade bestowed by The Georgia Straight; Jody Glenham is “the type of indie chanteuse people trip over themselves to find.” - BeatRoute Magazine

This Canadian Swinger/Songwriter/Scotch Drinker has showcased at NXNE, the WCMAs and Sled Island; and has shared the stage with a diverse catalogue of acts: Singer/Songwriters; Matthew Barber, Justin Rutledge and Dan Mangan; Avante-Garde craftsmen (and women); Chad VanGaalen, Danny Michel, Christine Fellows and Veda Hille; and Pacific Northwest Indie sensations; FENCES and The Head and The Heart.

A Winnipeg native, Jody Glenham relocated to Edmonton where she released ''Brave New World" in 2006. Hailed a "glorious piano pop debut" by The Edmonton Journal, the album charted on !earshot, received CBC Radio play nationwide and was listed in MARIA''s release highlights for that year. The standout track, ''When I Grow Up'', with its pots-and-pans rhythm section, was named Top 3 Song of 2006 by The Edmonton Journal and included in Vancouver arts publication, One Cool Word.

Feeling the draw of the milder temperatures, Glenham migrated further west shortly after the release of Brave New World. Settling in somewhere between the scarfs and scruffs of Vancouver''s indie music scene, her dedication towards the community led her to lend talents to many local acts; Mikey Manville and The Broken Arms, Christopher Smith and The Beckon Call, Bend Sinister, Louise Burns (of The Blue Violets), TARIQ and Shane Abram and The New Milwaukees. In 2009, she recorded and released her second independent LP with the help of Jesse Gander at The Hive Studios. The album, Focus Pull, who''s creation included many of the above mentioned local artists, also featured appearances by Brasstronaut''s Edo Van Breemen and You Say Party''s Al Boyle. After a glowing album review by The Georgia Straight, throwing Neko Case and Fiona Apple comparisons into the ring, the Straight took it one step further and bestowed a "Best of Vancouver 2009" accolade upon the transplanted musician.

Jody Glenham is writing new songs, breaking fresh hearts and looking forward to couch-crashing her way across North America.
