Diles is a certified audio engineer, beat conductor, Hip-Hop emcee, and producer out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Diles is a proud graduate of the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Phoenix, Arizona. With no other formal training in music, Diles has explored the world of sound vibration intimately throughout his adult life. Like the legends who have inspired him, Diles has locked himself in bedrooms and basements for months at a time to hone his craft.
The Southwest native is sitting on hundreds of quality music compositions and a handful of solid productions that center on creativity and collaboration. In 2011, Diles will make his mark on the music world with releases that cross the genres of hip-hop, nu-jazz, neo-soul, spoken word, and experimental music.
Among these projects are Mood Static – a compilation of some of Albuquerque’s unique up-and-coming artists, along with guest appearances from artists from the Rocky Mountain region and the East Coast; Name & Town – a Hip-Hop album featuring vocals by seasoned Denver rapper Molina; [Hakim’s project name] – a music/spoken word project featuring national slam poetry champion Hakim Be; and Diles own lyrical debut.
Diles is the founder and lead architect behind Visceral View Enterainment, defined as “Conviction Arising From One’s Mental Or Spiritual Being, Obtained Through Intuition Rather Than Reasoning”. This professional and business-oriented arts collective is focused on nourishing and expanding creative community, developing young artists, and supporters artists in pursuit of their artistic dreams.

Albuquerque, NM – Sitting on hundreds of quality beats and various musical collaborations in progress, local producer and beat conductor Diles has released a collaborative compilation featuring some of New Mexico’s top spoken word poets, recording artists and Hip-Hop emcees, in addition to several notable guest spots from out-of-state.
The compilation is titled Mood Static. Diles quietly released the instrumental album online in July of 2010, sharing the album mostly with friends and associates in the Albuquerque music scene. Diles began reaching out to local and national artists in an effort to transform Mood Static into an innovative music production, highlighting his friends’ vocal talents.
Mood Static features New Mexican artists Zack Freeman, Jungle One, Patch, Xian, Esme Vaandrager, Nick Fury, Solar, and Hakim Bellamy. Hip-Hop emcees Molina of Colorado and Jondis of New York round out the talent, and Diles drops some of his own flows on the Hip-Hop/Nu-Jazz compilation.
Mood Static sets the vibe and add sound vibration to people’s lives. The instrumental album was intended to be lounge music, or background music, providing a soundtrack to people’s everyday lives. The vocal talent adds poetic and philosophical elements, elevating the artistry of mood static through creative collaboration. The Mood Static compilation will be released online on December 21st, with a physical release and a collaborative album release party following sometime in January of 2011.
