The storm of Dangerous Musick has been coming for some years now. This Brooklyn born, Mt. Vernon raised MC. Demetrius Williams, aka “Dangerous “has been working the hip-hop scene for many years.
Dangerous, growing up on the streets of Mt Vernon, has had more then his share of trials and tribulations eventually landing himself in a New York State Prison.
Unlike other rap artists in the business whom glorify street life and help support the negative stereo type of hip-hop music, Dangerous believes in using his past to help and inspire, as well as educate the youth. Dangerous keeps it real and speaks out about many things going on in the streets & world. Dangerous lived, and lives what he rhymes about which gives him the edge many don’t have, and the passion in which he rhymes is felt in every track.
In asking Dangerous, What is Dangerous Musick? , Dangerous, smiles and looked me straight in the eye and replied” Dangerous Musick is music from the soul” which summed it up.
Dangerous has worked with so many in the industry it is surprising Dangerous is not more known , heard and seen in the hip hop music scene. Dangerous debuted on the movie soundtrack, The Bait, staring actor Jamie Foxx. He also lent his talents to the title track, "Took the Bait", collaboration with the legendary rap icon Scar Face
Dangerous has worked and performed with the likes of Jadakiss, Scarface, Nokio (Dru Hill), Case, Gangsta, Chingy, Carl Thomas, Chico Debarge, 112, Pete Roc, and Eve
.Dangerous toured with the entertainment company Ruff Ryders in the companies D.M.X golden years. Currently to date he starred and participated in the making and recording of the video “24 Ghetto Workout D.V.D.” Which is a youtube hit of 250,000,000,000 million veiws. Due to be released late winter of this year.
Dangerous has sold 650,000 copies of his mix tapes in the streets, and has appeared on numerous mix tapes across the country.
In filming Dangerous EPK, Doug E Fresh, Bonez Malone, and Pete Rock stared in the incredible story of Dangerous Musick, whom too is surprised Dangerous has not gotten the recognition he deserves. He has grew up in the buisness known by people in the industry from his young years of working in the office of a family based Law firm. Also Dangerous is well know in the industry for formerly being signed with Prince’s digital based record label “ North Star” Which was in partnership with Londell Mcmillan, who also represented Prince, Faith Evans and a host of other major entertainment artist as well, until North Star finally closed their doors some years ago. After working behind the scenes for Prestigous Entertainment Law firm https://www.tradebit.comdell Mcmillan p.c. Deme Decided to start his own company Dangerous Musick Ent. And push his music independently and whole heartedly.
Dangerous has an acting ability that he has persued. Landing an exsclusive speaking role in an independent short film commercial “Streets 2 Suites” Promotional film financed & sponcered by Hieneken Beer.
Dangerous career has come with many challenges, haters, and jealousy. “But the people with character are the people with the most enemies.” Say’s Dangerous.
He has battled one or two of our mainstream major emcees in the business, and even has a character in reference to him in the Major motion Picture “Get Rich or Die Trying”
Dangerous believes in giving back and has proven so. Dangerous recorded a track
“War Outside “which is a deep heartfelt hip hop track about what’s going on in the streets. War Outside was selected to be the title track of the major motion picture “JADA” Starring Jason Weaver, Jennifer Freidman, Rocmund Dunbar & Clifton Powell.
“A War Outside is exactly what is”, says Dangerous. His single War Outside is getting much political attention to where Dangerous wanted to give back and decided to donate 20% of record sales to the Wounded Combat Vets. And is on sale on CD Baby, I Tunes and most music sites.
Dangerous Musick finally caught the ear and eye of Antonio St. Lorenzo, CEO/President of Purple Heart Records an Indie label and signed Danger to a unexsclusive digital distribution deal. After 3 years of being with an Indie label Danger found the support of the label was not working for him and his dream. Danger parted ways with Purple Heart Records. Danger is now a free agent, wants and plans on taking Danger and Dangerous Musick to the next level.
Danger, Demetrius, Deme’, and Dangerous Musick will be house hold names, with the skill and talents of this born emcee. Danger plans on releasing two unheard tracks featuring and produced by the one and only Kanye West. When I asked Danger why has the se tracks never been released, he looked at me and said” I have no idea, ask North Star Distribution “.
The two un-released tracks are “ I Know That’s Right “ and “ Get Your Lies Straight “ In actually listening to the tracks I am sure everyone will think as I do now that, Danger scored two hit songs, once it’s released.
It’s clear to see that Dangerous Musick music are here to stay.
