Details:
Biggy Stardust and His Wretched Hive is a 4 piece punk outfit hailing from charlotte, NC. We have played many local shows but have also been booked to open for many national and regional acts as well. Some of these include The Misfits, Antiseen, Agent Orange, The Mentors, Joe Buck Yourself, The Have Nots, The Sex Slaves, Scott H. Biram, and Thunderlip. We also played The Heavy Rebel Weekender in 2009.

The songs you are hearing are true DIY. There was no studio, no producer, engineer, pedal boards etc.. This recording was done in a warehouse for the music tracks and the vocals were done in our drummer''s apartment. We used 8 mics and a laptop with adobe audition. All music was recorded live in 1 to 3 takes with leads overdubbed to create a full sound. The guitars are simple, a cable into the guitar and then into the amp. No pedals, special effects or post production effects were used so what you are hearing is what you will here live. Thanks to John for his kick ass bass lines, expert recording knowledge, and to Kevin for his kick ass drumming. We wish you well in your other projects.

Reviews:
"North Carolina scuzzballs The Dead Kings may have called it a day after 10 years of filth-wallowing, but Kings front-freak Biggy Stardust has bravely carried on with this new gang of rock''n''roll outlaws. Although the Hive are less porn-y than the Kings - by a hair - expect a similar sort of ''77 punk walloping, fried-up Dixie-style and served in chunks of profanity-laden fist-rock. "
