Her latest CD, "Sapphire Days" recently hit #3 on the New Age Reporter airplay chart making it one of the most played albums of modern instrumental music in North America; her music also airs in eleven different countries. "Reflections" also charted #3 in Radio in 2002 and remained on the charts for 10 months running with an earlier album, "Passage" joining it. This is Sweeten''s debut CD where it all began! A truly well-rounded individual and artist, Ann Sweeten is a staunch environmentalist, vegetarian and animal activist. In addition to being a composer and pianist, she is also a professional actress/singer with Actor''s Equity, a trained ballet dancer and former female front to the rock band FALLOUT. She earned a degree in foreign languages from Smith College, studied in Paris and later at the Boston Conservatory.
She has six discs available: Reflections, Passage, Prism, Christmas Presence, Sapphire Days and now, A Place in the Sun.
