After spending three years at Berklee School of Music in Boston, Tony hit the road with an original fusion band in the early 1980’s. After playing the New England scene for about 5 years, Tony returned to rejoin his brother Chris, eventually co-founding their current group. Tony plays a 1963 fretless Fender Jazz and a fretted Spector bass guitar. His main influences are Weather Report, Yes, King Crimson and Miles Davis. ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************ STEVE RENKO – (Drums) is a musical prodigy, and is one of the most talked about drummers. Besides playing and recording with CuDa/RenKo/CuDa, Steve played drums with the legendary Ernie Krivda’s Big Band, Bad Boys of Blues, and the Tri-C Big Band. Steve is effortlessly able to capture the nuances of Chris’ odd time-signature music with mega-chops as well as laying down a monster groove. Steve has studied with drum guru, Bob McKee and has also drawn much praise from international percussion giant, Jamie Haddad. CuDa/RenKo/CuDa were well recieved performing in local NYC clubs. Steve attended the Manhattan School of Music.
