Not only has Todd felt God’s call on him since he was a young boy, but he has had this confirmed by others both in and outside of ministry. When he was only six years old, he began playing the piano, mostly by ear, creating songs and… just having fun. This quickly grew as God’s plans became evident in the abilities and anointing that surfaced in the music.
After pursuing lessons, learning theory, and reading music, (the boring stuff at the time), he further developed his talent by playing several other instruments throughout (from grade school and into college). He attended Interlochen Center for the Arts while in high school, and college on a music scholarship. After being heard as a pianist, he was invited to be a part of both the jazz ensemble and the orchestra.
Early on, Todd taught piano, but his heartfelt desire was to use his gifts and talents for the Lord in ministry, and help equip those who sensed a calling as well.
From early on, many doors have opened to allow Todd to work in various aspects of worship ministry (for over 23 years now), including a worship leader, worship elder, being on the board of directors & a vice president for various ministries, a musician, and songwriter. Todd has also been a guest musician for many different events at various churches, fund raisers, weddings, concerts, etc. He was the keyboardist and support vocalist on a Christian contemporary recording.
Outside of the music realm, Todd has served in various other ministries within the church.
Todd’s passion is to see the body of Christ at a new level of worship, not only in song but in daily living—a people offering themselves as a true living sacrifice, obedient to the Lord in all matters that surround them. He believes that nothing touches the Father’s heart more than true heart-released worship from His children!
