"Never Had a Bad Day" is an new country album full of humor and heart. Jared Ramey is an exciting and inspiring county music entertainer. This singer/songwriter/guitar player is authentic. Jared was reared in a fun-loving gospel centered home in Boise, Idaho. Jared is the oldest of six children. When he was three years old he nicknamed himself "Bootch," which is what his friends and fans still call him.
Jared started playing "Bluegrass" style guitar at the age of nine. His father played the banjo. He began writing and performing his first songs in his early teens. Jared worked in the family roofing business through his teenage years where he learned the value of hard work. His family often vacationed to the Ramey Ranch in the mountains of northern Idaho where they enjoyed many fun summers together. Jared recalls lots of fun times playing music around the campfire at their ranch.
Jared served a two year mission for his church to Argentina at the age of nineteen (https://www.tradebit.com). After his mission he attended Brigham Young University where he studied construction management. While attending BYU he married his sweetheart Kerri. They currently live in Boise, Idaho and have three beautiful children.
Jared and his family spent the last year living in Nasville, Tennessee where he wrote and recorded the songs on this album "Never Had a Bad Day." The album title was inspired by his grandfather and good friend Ivar Ramey. Jared recalls that whenever someone would ask Ivar how he was doing he would reply, "Never Had a Bad Day." Great words to live by!
Jared has a passion for entertaining and inspiring audiences through his songs and performances. His musical influences include many greats such as Chuck Berry, Johnny Cash, Buck Owens, Ricky Skaggs, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, and Josh Turner, and many more.
