Steve has been playing guitar since 1986. Growing up, he had heard his older brother playing guitar, and wanted to be able to play the way he could. Steve is a self taught guitarist, and wrote his first song, “I Wanna Know”, in 1996. Ever since, he has been writing songs about a variety of emotions, based on both personal experiences, as well as observances of those around him. His music is primarily rock-based, and is influenced by such artists as Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, The Eagles and Blue Rodeo. Like these influences, his music does have a country feel on occasion. His debut album, My Songs, is a collection of ten original compositions, and each song selected has a special meaning to him.
