Ever since I was forced into piano lessons at the tender age of 7 years old I’ve loved the sound of the piano. It took me a couple of years to appreciate that learning the piano was a good thing, and my poor mother had to cajole me into going... it took an hour on the bus to get there, and obviously another hour to get back and there were so many other things a 7 year old could be doing... much more fun things!
So, fast forward 32 years, I’m approaching my 40th birthday, and it seems appropriate to celebrate the versatility of the piano in an album dedicated solely to its sound.
I hope you enjoy listening to this as much as I enjoyed composing and recording it.
