This album is comprised of songs that I wrote over the course of 5 years (or more) while I was in a band called Medina Sod based out of Boston. We started as a classic rock cover band doing Pink Floyd''s Animals album, as well as various Rolling Stones, Neil Young, Beatles, and other classic bands.
I started bringing original material to the band and we moved to a band who would do 1 or 2 covers per show. Most of this album is comprised of these songs, the rest being filled in by newer songs I have written since I moved from the Boston area.
I am always writing new material, and I am already working on putting together another album.
If you''re into solid electric guitar rock check out Gone, Waste of Time, Massachusetts Angel, Holyoke, In the Mirror, and Call him Brocktoon. If you want to check out some acoustic numbers listen to No Gravity, Go Away, I Why, and Drawing Three. The Heat and 12 years are instrumentals, and Backdrop is a short transitional piece played on an acoustic guitar.
I am very happy with the way these songs turned out. Was I able to put down exactly what was in my head to disk? No, I don''t think anyone ever is. But I think that this album can be appreciated as a whole as well as each song individually. I hope you agree- thanks for listening.
