MP3 Robbie and the Robots - Todaysterday

"Todaysterday" by Robbie and the Robots is a fun album that artfully combines the emotions of a wonton night of drunken excess, with those felt the next morning, head in hands, mumbling "I can''t believe I did that".

10 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Progressive Rock, POP: Quirky

Details:
Robbie hosts an open mic every Monday at Lucy''s in San Marcos. Robbie and the Robots was voted number 1 Alternative Band in Austin in 2004, and number 2 Alternative band in Austin in 2005. They were also voted number 5 best party band both years. Robbie''s song "Drug Free Sabbath" won an honor award in the "Great American Song Contest". Robbie has played with such people as Tim Reynolds of the Dave Matthews Band and Scott Biram who got run over by an 18 wheeler and lived. Robbie and the Robots'' Drummer Luke Pierce is about to be a PA in the next Coen Brothers movie. Robbie is putting together the first ever San Marcos Compilation album. Proceeds from the album will be donated to fund research on Fibromyalgia. He has also said "Fuck" on national radio twice (which caused a big stir on 93.7 KLBJ''s Dudley and Bob Show) as well as hosted a pirate radio show on KIND Radio called "The Sesky Brisket Juice Show" where he cursed with impunity and was tracked by Arbitron. Robbie was dropped from an Austin record label for being too "controversial". He has two degrees--one in English and one in Psychology. One time he broke out his front teeth at a show on a fan''s head in the mosh pit, then had a benefit show at that bar to raise money to fix his teeth. Robbie and the Robots. Check it.
