China Syndrome is a rockin'' melodic power pop band from Vancouver B.C. Canada, who combine the driving pop hooks of The New Pornographers and Guided By Voices with liberal dollops of old favourites such as XTC and the Replacements. Their self-titled 2007 album has been described as "one CD that should be on everyone''s ''must have'' list" (International Pop Overthrow) and "a grower" (Tom Harrison, The Province). Their second album, Nothing''s Not Worth Knowing, was released in January 2011 and, like the first, was recorded and produced at Vancouver''s JC/DC Studio by David Carswell (Tegan & Sara, Destroyer, Evaporators, Apollo Ghosts).
