和太鼓奏者の内藤哲郎と横笛奏者の武田朋子が「朋郎」として
DUOを結成。「うたう太鼓、おどる笛」として、そのうねる巧みなリズムと独自のメロディが融合。
太鼓と笛の原点である「囃子」の観念を大事にしながら、あくまでもポップにいまなお進化する音楽として数多くのオリジナル音楽を生み出し、「江戸ポップ」という新ジャンルを開拓すべく活動中。

TOMORO is a duo formed in 2004 with Taiko(Japanese traditional drum) and Shinobue(Japanese traditional bamboo flute) by Tetsuro Naito and Tomoko Takeda.
Tetsuro is renowned as a Taiko player who has an excellent sense and technique.
Tomoko is a Shinobue player and composes sensitive melodies.
The music of the duo is based on Edo-Bayashi( a kind of Japanese traditional music).And also the music is found on the traditional and contemporary elements,which are successfully incorporated into a unique https://www.tradebit.com they named their music Edo-Pop.
