As a very young kid, Travis Bryant aka Traverse enjoyed music just as much as everyone else did, letting their favorites tapes and CD''s rock til they popped. He sketched drawings growing up as a hobby but being a musician didn''t cross his mind... up until 2004 at the age 14 years old that is.
His middle school peers introduced him to the Rock scene with breakthrough bands at the time such as Korn and Linkin Park. He was drawn to Fieldy''s (bassist from Korn) style of bass playing and wanted to learn Bass guitar, but didn''t have one, however his best friend Brandon had an electric guitar and an acoustic guitar also. He fell in love with the 6 string guitar the minute he picked it up and was compelled to learn how to rock like the greats before him! At the same time he became fascinated with poetry & together he began writing his first rock songs and his first hip hop lyrics.
After the release of his debut mixtape "SirenS", Traverse decided to reflect on life with the release of his debut album "Rise". He wanted to connect with the fans on a down to Earth level based on the hardships that life can bring and end it on a positive note. Many more projects will be seen as Traverse grows as a person and as well as a musician! He looks forward to establishing a live band and blend hip-hop and rock together in a way never done before! We may very well be looking at the next Jimi Hendrix!!!
