MarÃa Benham has won numerous talent contests as a solo and duo, with her husband, Kirk. In 2004 they performed on local TV channels such as Smart Country TV Show with singer Jimmy Smart. Later in 2005 MarÃa was invited to sing for the Winters Brothers TV Show and also as a duo for Nashville On Stage and together they have performed for audiences in Kentucky, Arkansas, Idaho among others. They also performed on Singer Songwriters with host Mike Jennings. In 2006 MarÃa sang for the Singer/Songwriter TV Show. MarÃa appeared in the Nashville Music Guide of July 2006 and also the Nashville Memphis Music Magazine. Kirk and MarÃa were invited to sing for Spanish - TV in Nashville in 2008 and for COPLA/ Tennessee Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Also performed with host Billy Galvin at the Preston Hotel and at the Loretta Lynn Ranch in 2009.
