I am a fingerstyle guitarist from the Washington DC area who has recorded 8 CDs of mostly original material -- until now! Flashback is a collection of some of the favorite songs I''ve always wanted to record on acoustic guitar. The CD starts out with a live recording of two guitars performing Josie by Steely Dan -- Mike Miller, a good friend and guitarist from LA who has played with Chick Corea plays electric and you can hear his great soloing throughout. There are two other songs by the Dan on this CD as well as songs by America, the Hollies, Elton John, Joni Mitchell and Toto. I have been performing around the DC area for many years and have opened for some of the great fingerstylists of our time; Pierre Bensuan, Clive Carroll, Pepino D''Augustino (3 times!), Kaki King, Adrian Legg and others. The Washington Post reviewed an earlier CD of mine and called it "Soulful." Pepino D''Augustino said my playing "unexpected chord changes -- no, thats good!" I hope you enjoy this, its taken me over two years to record this CD and these songs seem to stand the test of time.
