The McCain Brothers music is country rock''n''roll. The boys from Bovina, Texas are singer-songwriters, actors, broadcasters and movie producers. Daily Variety describes the McCain Brothers as multi-hyphenated.
They''ve performed at county and state fairs opening for acts such as: Toby Keith, George Jones, The Bellamy Brothers, Glen Campbell, The Oak Ridge Boys, Don Williams, Ray Price and others.
They''ve recorded 4 albums on Rise and Shine Records. The single "If Love Was A Crime I Couldn''t Get Arrested" was a pick hit in Billboard Magazine and went to number 1 on KOMA in Oklahoma City in 1985. Ben and younger brother, Butch, hosted a TV show in Oklahoma City 12 years. They''ve performed their music and in skits on the syndicated TV show Hee Haw, The Tonight Show and Nashville Now. They’ve been seen on Good Morning America, the Today Show and even hosted their own syndicated TV program "The McCain Brothers Show". The McCain Brothers wrote and performed the theme song for the movie "My Name is Bruce" starring Bruce Campbell. The video of the McCain Brothers performing "The Legend of Gaun-Di" plays throughout the movie where Ben is the mayor and Butch has two roles that of the sheriff and a uni-browed farmer. Their music has been featured in other films including: Roger Corman''s remake of Humanoids from the Deep, Rubbernecking, Blood Deep and Killer Tumbleweeds.

OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER (young enough not to care)
Long time friend Billy Whitecotton and Butch used to say this line when they were in high school. Butch finally got around to writing a song about it in 1989. Featured in the Movie Rubbernecking where Butch plays a disc jockey and Ben plays a film critic.
