Eric Lamb’s book of life has had many chapters… Growing up with the musical influences of the ‘60’s, he was playing guitar and touring in his first professional band at 16 years old. His music has taken him through many bands and styles from pop to punk to country. He eventually ended, as most musicians do, in the fast paced city of Los Angeles, where he started playing a much tougher sound showcasing in clubs like The Troubador, Madame Wong’s, The Whiskey and several other clubs. After enough years of the mosh pits of the ‘80’s, he left in search of something else. Several years studying Kabbalah and other forms of meditation eventually led him to the islands of Hawaii for 3 ½ years. While there, he spent months living in a tent in the mystical jungles of Hanikapiai Valley along the Na Pali coastline. In coming back to the U.S., he brought with him a new song in his heart. Moving to San Diego, he is now living with his wife aboard a 50’ yacht and continues to write soothing songs of the sea and the surrounding San Diego shoreline. ‘Mermaids’ is his first collective of soul-inspiring songs that reach deep within you to relax, as well as, revitalize your innerself.
