In 1981, no one knew the status of the person being born on September 16th but at the age of 4, Elie Lapointe began to show his family and friends that his mark on music would be made soon enough. As a drummer and singer in his father’s gospel band “Don Divine,” Elie was the youngest member to floor people with his talent. From 4 to 16, he perfected his craft and the legacy of Elie Lapointe, singer, guitarist, writer, producer, and musician began.
