Lelly K’s poignant delivery of torch songs began some years ago at a hot seafood restaurant in Glebe called Frying Times. With a background in the Australian music theatre scene, including appearances with the Australian Opera and Victorian State Opera as well as tours with J.C. Williamsons, Lelly K has an impressive track record. Her current showcase is an ecclectic mix of retro rock ‘n roll covers with soft original ballads as well as hard hitting home grown rap, Lelly K and her band have been popular with the local pub scene. In the last 6 months the band have played at many venues from Mt. Victoria’s Imperial to Springwood’s Oriental, Lawson''s Mid Mountains Hotel as well as appearances at the Roxbury in Glebe.
