As seen on CBC & MUCHMUSIC, A Fish Called Piranha has performed in over 100 venues around the world from 10 people in a coffee shop to 2000 people in the Philippines to 10,000 screaming fans at Tomfest, Portland, OR. ''AFCP'' has recorded with producer-extraordinaires such as Mike Plotnikoff (KISS, Cranberries), John MacLean (Limblifter), John Shepp (GOB, Matthew Good), and Sam Ryan (Destino, Krome). Most recently, A Fish Called Piranha recorded most of the album masterpiece, “The Year Of The Fish”, holed up in the studio for more than a year. Guest artists included Shawn Meehan (Krome), Eric Davis (The Left) and celebrity sushi chef himself, Tojo Hidekazu. Co-produced by Sam Ryan (Destino, Krome), “The Fish”, will be released in the fall of 2010 with incredible artwork by John Rummen (Barenaked Ladies, Sarah McLachlan) of Nettwerk Records and Kwong''s signature hidden acronyms & anagrams in his Kurt Cobain-esque lyrics (SEE BELOW... For example, in the song, ''PAYDAY'', the 1st letter of each line at the end of the song spells, ''TRUMP'', as in ''Donald Trump''.
