Asia Jamayé Bond was born on February 8th, 1994 and believe it or not, since that day, she knew what she wanted to do and who she wanted to become. She started off by blasting her small karaoke machine, singing, dancing, and acting like some of her favorite TV stars, Pop icons, Broadway stars, super models, you name it. She still loves to entertain, be on stage, and on camera. In elementary school, she would participate in school plays, church plays during the holidays, liturgical dancing, and even talent shows. This continued to through middle school and even to this day. Her father (and family) had taken a great interest in her talent(s) and has not only given her his love, but his support. She hopes to be a great performer one day, maybe even a superstar. Focusing on this not only makes her determined on her performance on stage or on camera, but my performance in school, because her parents, especially her father have made it clear to her that education is the key to everything. She thinks what makes her different from the “typical” performer is that she uses even the worst life experiences to push her even further to her goal(s). She wants people to know her story. She wants people to understand that even through the roughest times there is still some good in a certain situation. Performing for her has become more then just something that she does. It has become a passion, an art, but most importantly it has become her personality. The more she strives for what she wants and who she wants to be, has made her believe that that personality has always been there. No matter what comes her way, it only makes her stronger, and by getting stronger, that personality grows, not only into a great performer, but a great individual.
