Coming together in January 2010, Fellowbliss set forth on a journey to change the musical landscape of their Southwest Florida home, and maybe the world. Having a variety of diverse musical backgrounds, the members of Fellowbliss found common ground in their desire to put music first, and hype second.

Fellowbliss have a unique ability to be comfortable on any stage, in any environment, and for just about any age range. No matter the size of the venue or crowd, the band consistently delivers a high-energy performance with razor-sharp skill. Because of this, Fellowbliss have garnered an impressive and loyal following with over 100,000 fans keeping up with the band on social networking sites.

The band''s first EP "Laughing at Catastrophe" hit shelves in 2011. Exactly one year after the band''s March 6th, 2010 debut show. "Laughing at Catastrophe" translates the personal experiences of the band into hypnotic music that effortlessly works its way into the minds of its listeners. This project spotlights the jagged rock-rhythms and smooth hip-hop flow that set Fellowbliss apart from other local acts.

As the title suggests, "Laughing at Catastrophe" is about the duality of life. But the title also mirrors the personality of Fellowbliss. The album sets out to document the thoughts and emotions of a band that sees both great pain and enormous meaning in the world. With that in mind, Fellowbliss detailed the surprising coherence between those ups and downs with incredibly rich musical form. Despite the difficulties faced in nearly every aspect of life, Fellowbliss guitarist Slim Gillian declares, "We are bigger, better, and stronger. But more than that, we''re ready and willing to fight."

Vocalist Jubilee explains, "The thing about ''Laughing at Catastrophe'' is that the album is unequivocally ''us.'' Every song was written because we meant it. Every song is something we have felt or experienced ourselves. At this point, despite the catastrophic events of the past year, we still tilt back our heads...and laugh at life."

With over 101,000 YouTube hits on their recent music video, the SWFL-based rock band Fellowbliss have turned heads all across the country and even the world. On the heels of their YouTube success, Fellowbliss is seeking to create even more attention by releasing nationally their debut CD, "Laughing at Catastrophe" on March 5th, 2011.

Since performing their first show in Naples, FL just one year (to the date) prior to this release, Fellowbliss have established themselves as heavy-hitters in local, regional and national music scenes. With their versatile live show, charismatic personalities and unique social networking presence, the members of Fellowbliss have created a significant footprint in the music industry. The band has amassed a combined fan base of over 100,000 on their MySpace, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter networks; along with a half dozen major and independent record label nods.

Fellowbliss have a “quality of music over quantity of music” philosophy. With that in mind, the band spent the first year of their career pouring themselves into the writing process and touring aggressively on regional and national levels. It was only after establishing a dedicated fan-base, that Fellowbliss set forth to record their freshman project. Using their $2,500 winnings from the Homegrown Music Festival at Germain Arena (Estero, FL), gathering donations from their fans, and choosing to forego a paycheck from their live shows, Fellowbliss spent countless hours at The Vibe Recording Studio in Ft. Myers, FL laying down tracks for their "Laughing at Catastrophe" EP with acclaimed recording engineer Chad Zuchegno.

The 12-track EP (6 intro tracks and 6 full songs) has been long-awaited by the Fellowbliss fan-base. The band aims to appeal to a variety of audiences through their unique approach to rock, hip-hop, and spoken word. Upon its release, “Laughing at Catastrophe” will be available nationally through nearly every digital music outlet (iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody, etc.). In addition, physical copies will be available at their live shows, on their web store, and at a few local retailers.

"In a town that doesn''t show much love to local original bands, it''s refreshing to see a band like Fellowbliss care more about their sound than their image. Songs like Wicked Heart and Mask of my Life are proof that Fellowbliss has taken the ball Evanescense and Flyleaf started and run with it. Instead of copying a sound, Fellowbliss has taken the best of bands like Flyleaf and Sevendust and mashed them into a sound of their own. Fellowbliss is truly a band with no ceiling." – “DC” (Chris Delozier), on-air personality – 99X/Beasley Broadcasting

Fellowbliss is a self-managed, independent, unsigned band made up of Jubilee (Vocals), Matt Anastasi (Drums), Chris "C-Bear" Riley (Bass Guitar), and Slim "Slimtronic5k" Gillian (Guitar).
