Will Easley stepped into the spotlight at the age of 14 years old on a dare with his spellbinding tenor voice. The young man captured first place in the talent competition in Pensacola, Florida. His prize…he was the opening act for Charlie Pride at the Municipal Auditorium. This was the beginning of the professional singing career of Will Easley.

Will served in the United States Armed Forces, where his talents did not go unnoticed. He was assigned to Special Services where he traveled from post to post entertaining troops. His audience ultimately included foreign and domestic dignitaries including former President Gerald Ford.

A community activist, Will recently received the Citizens Award from the city of Montgomery, Alabama for his participation in curbing crime in the city.

Throughout his career, Will has been blessed to have appeared on shows with such artists as “The Godfather of Soul” James Brown, Ike and Tina Turner, The Commodores, Little Milton, Denise LaSalle, Bobby Blue Bland, Charlie Pride, Collin Raye, Pat Cooley, Ronnie Milsapp, Freddie Fender, Marvin Sease, Calvin Richardson, the legendary Lenny Williams, the late Eddie Kendricks of the Temptations, and the late Johnny Taylor. Other performances included, the opening act for the hit stage play, “A Good Man Is Hard To Find.” Successfully, his hit single “Don’t Ya Like It” appeared on the International charts, and countless US charts. Within the first month of release, the song garnered rave reviews from several major publications.

Will Easley has a unique vocal style that cannot be categorized. Whether he is singing for children or adults, audiences large or small, regardless of genre, he captivates the crowd!

Will’s musical versatility and showmanship earned him an award from the “Music Makers Hall of Fame” and the production of a weekly variety television series, aptly named “The Will Easley Show.” Will appeared in the film “West From North Goes South” starring Phyllis Diller, LaWanda Page (Sanford and Son) and Morris Day of (Morris Day and The Time). Further media experience includes serving as an extra in countless different films.

While signed to CDS Records based in California, Will recorded the song “DAMN FOOL.” He attributed the inspiration for the writing of the song to several of his radio idols such as Steve Harvey, Tom Joyner, and Michael Baisden. The lessoned he learned from these well-known personalities, was to be honest and positive with your audience/fans.

Will credits his success in the music industry first and foremost to the Almighty God, his mother the late Voncile Williams and his father Willie Easley, Sr. Furthermore, Will includes credits to his former school teacher, the late Jackie Hulse with being responsible for getting Will his first professional singing gig, his cousin Sanford Jones and William “Big Daddy” Moss who taught him his first song, Emile Petro, Don Davis, Papa Ray Sims, Lisa and the late David Levin, and last but not least, his best friend, the late Eddie Kendricks of the Temptations who always told Will “You are never too old to be who you are.”
