BIO 2010 DJ Hard

My interest in music started before I was a teenage when I met James Moore and later on I met Bobby Sanders of The Young Hearts. Like most active kids I played sports and song in choirs in high school. I grow up around music and learned how to play Congo Drums from my Uncle Sam. After my father died, we were not rich or middle class any more, but we had family and friends. I started spinning records when I was a teen at our family’s house parties we called Hardy Party, and my brother Lonnie stepped it up big time with Midnight Disco.

Later in life while attending GSU, my excitement about the entertainment industry began to take shape in new ways. I involved myself into electronics technologies and behind the scene skills like television broadcasting, telecommunications, sound recording, film/video recording, film/video/sound editing, photography, graphics, CD/DVD product designs, producing original television programming, scheduling live performance bookings, promotions, computer technologies and software user specialist in Microsoft Office XP, AVID, and ProTools.

My early career in music were collaborations with many other artists wherever I lived in Shreveport, New Orleans, Hollywood, Los Angeles, and Watts. I did a host of things like film projects such as the Who’s Next TV Show (WNTV), The Mega Peace Festival sponsored in part by the National Low Rider Association and The Shreveport Blues Festival sponsored by Playaz & Playettes, Inc. I produced a 12” record for the artist HAT 2000 in 1992. In 1994, I started singing and writing songs as a solo artist. In 2008-2009, I had a chance to be a member of the Louisiana G-Funk Family band. During this time I started studying music deeper and hired Stanley Robinson as my music teacher in Fruityloops FL Studio.

After a year and a half of hard work in my geek lab, I came up with my most fabulous creative work of art yet. It is my new CD titled I Got The Music Aint Got No Words. What took me so long was the education of learning many jobs? It was one academic program after another to make one great CD.

This is what I have today; I Got The Music Aint Got No Words by DJ Hard, and the best is yet to come.

I love Jazz,
DJ Hard
