These meditations come from my experience as a mindfulness facilitator, teacher and psychotherapist. I have led 9 workshops for Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) in NYC, and each time have tried to fit the material to the participants in the group. As a result I have blended the basic MBCT teachings with my own experience and the needs of my participants. One of the results in this album''s Mindfulness of the Breath. In addition I have written 3 more meditations designed to help the listener come to a place of equanimity, acceptance and compassion. Finally, I offer a track of chimes sounded at intervals, as reminders to focus awareness on moment-by-moment experience.
