Details:
Avalanche Express was created and conceived in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains outside the Mile High City of Denver.

David Day, Shawn “Flitz Alan” Palmer, and Micah Lundy join forces to collaborate, share and cultivate their talents to create this album. A synergy and bond is clearly formed by the three musicians. Special thanks to James Han and Steve “Smitty” Smith who also performed on the album.

Avalanche Express is a multi instrumental album that is held down by the acoustic and electric guitar, Harp and vintage stripped road house drums and many other instruments.

The vocals and lyrics bring special meaning to the music in the album which allows you to have time to think, breath space and absorb what has been written.

The album kicks off with Graveyard Dash a Cajun gumbo foot stomp which tells a story.

Spirit of Time and Can’t Stop Now are haunting introspective cerebral songs that will make you think in terms of one’s life, mind and soul. The essence of Spirit of Time is captured by the piano track performed by James Han.

Burnin’ Down the Fire and Avalanche Express are down home Rocky Mountain songs that transport you to experiences in the Rockies. Visualize and transport yourself through time in a 1800’s locomotive through the Rockies in the dead of winter
or the peaceful, serene surroundings of what the Rockies are all about.

One More Day has the markings of a Scottish Power Ballad with harp and bagpipes.

Thunder in My Heart has a Native American flavor with special underlying meanings.

Much Betta and Faraway Troubles take you to a different time and place.

Last Man Standing is gritty Chicago electric Blues with B3 Organ.

The album was created for your enjoyment and the expression of three musicians wanting to create something timeless and meaningful.
