Byron Blocker & The Offbeats play a drunken mix of Whiskey Blues/Pirate Jazz in the vein of Tom Waits. We have been together for less than a year and have already been called "Hollywood''s Midnight Band", earning the nickname by playing our home stage The Viper Room more times than any other band in 2010 (clocking in at a mean 12 shows in 8 months).
The Offbeats have already performed at many of California’s legendary venues including The House of Blues Sunset for their 2010 Halloween Night Bash, Molly Malone’s, The Casbah, The Beauty Bar, and more.
The whiskey-fueled vocals have been noticed by college, web, and independent radio stations – including being featured on the Anti-Monday League with San Diego 94.9 FM’s Tim Pyles.
