Bloodline Severed is a six-piece Christian metal band based out of Winston-Salem, NC. They have been on the scene for several years, enduring numerous line-up changes. With an unrelenting passion for music, people, and their faith in a real God, they keep pressing on in a time when people have no peace, hope, joy, or solitude.
“We realize that people have, for far too long, put their faith and hope in man, government and the church itself – never realizing that only God Himself can bring that change and hope they seek in their lives. This is our message to this seeking-world!” says vocalist Corey Weaver.
Bloodline Severed has had the pleasure of playing such festivals as Cornerstone, Ichthus, and Taking Back the Streets. They have also been up and down the east coast and Midwest spreading the message they are so passionate about. They have recently finished recording their sophomore full-length album with Jamie King at Basement Studios (Between the Buried and Me, For Today).
According to Corey, "It is the most passionate record we have ever written in the band’s seven-year tenure. Everything has been well thought-out musically and lyrically. It fuses our various stylistic influences from different genres like hardcore, death metal, progressive metal, and technical metal. But the most important thing to me is the message behind the music: IT IS the most personal, most in-your-face record we have ever written – and I would have it no other way. We will spread the message. We have to. The call is far too great!"
