Bloodshed WALHALLA is a solo-project created by Drakhen in 2006.
In December 2008 they released their first demo cd called Valhalla. “Walhalla” is sung exclusively in Italian and contains four songs: “Walhalla”, “Cantano le leggende” e “Cuore di re”.
The band suffers several problem but the desire to make a better recording and a much more original material is bigger.
So in May 2009 They released the second demo cd called “Demo cd 2009”. It contains four songs sung in English and only one in Italian: “Brother of Blood”, “Into the abyss”, “Reflection”, “Padre di tutti gli dei”, “The Triumph of the end”.
Demo 2009 received very good reviews although it suffers of recording problems.
In November 2009, the new demo cd called “The legend of a Viking” sign an improving regarding the recording abilities and the quality of songs. This is a six-songs cd sung in English language at all: “Son of the war”, “Where''s my God?”, “Warriors of the Northern”, “The Legends will sing through the Wind”, “Born in Fire”, “Eternal Wind”.
Magazines define it “inner” “simply wonderful” and many define it “heroic”.
The band fishes into a vast basket of heavy metal, especially viking metal inspired to north European, but in an original-mediterrean way. Someone compared the music of Bloodshed Walhalla to the music of Bathory.
In August 2010 the band reached an agreement with an Italian label “Fog Foundation”, that will reprint the third demo tape in a professional way, with a different artwork.
Fog Foundation is supported for this issue by Sweden label “Salute records” and Italian one “Raptures Asylum prod.”, that treat the exclusive distribution in their countries.
