They shared stages with the likes of: Joe Tex, Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Solomon Burke, Blues Busters, Millie Small, Bob Marley, Derrick Morgan, and The Silhouettes. Bob now enjoys a solo career. SHERI-LEE MAJORS is missing in action. She just vanished while working on her debut album. For thirty years her producer searched for her without success. It is hoped that by releasing some of her work she might be found. Sheri Lee hails from somewhere around London England. Sheri Lee Majors is her stage name. TERRY (Africa) BROWN unpacks one of his golden nuggets. He tells of what happened at his Ram Jam Party (Track# 9) What a woman did with another woman''s man. This chatter-box went on to reveal how the Chinese did it: What the Indians did: How the Africans handled it, and the behavior of the Europeans. This is one of his rare appearances, as he is occupied with publishing his book "Intergalactic Tribunal/Rebel Elder". Terry Brown is a very skilled songwriter, who is involved in writing all but one of the songs on this compilation. He is the founder of the group "Planet Earth" and manages its business affairs. IZZY REVERA is the comical one - the life of the group. Folks cannot stop laughing whenever they are in his presence. This former member of the famed Drifters was a real drifter. Where ever he goes he brought joy. His many years among such an international act as "The Drifters" was indeed a blessing to Planet Earth. He picked harmony lines right out of thin air and if notes got dropped he picked them up as smoothly as taking a stroll. Brother Izzy as he is known by his inner circle is no longer with us. He crossed over. Where ever he is; Brother IZZY will be laughing. We thank you Brother Izzy for leaving us one of your golden performances. Planet Earth is blessed because you came.
THE LIBERATORS are the undercover members of this musical encounter. The members are very diverse and quite dangerous with their instruments. They are Old-School, Current, and Futuristic. The members of this liberating army completes the musical arsenal of Planet Earth. They also contributed their expertise and talents on several of the above tracks. The Liberators are as comfortable on stage as they are in the recording studio. On Track #11 they are caught in one of their jamming sessions. Make sure you catch The Liberator Live whenever they pass through your city or town.
