In celebration of its 50th anniversary, the City of San Juan Capistrano commissioned Rockcrest Seven Video Productions to produce a film that would capture the essence and spirit of the city and its people. Rockcrest Seven Producer and Director, Dot C. Leach, concluded that the fundamental nature of the city was in the way it embraced yet contrasted the traditional elements of the town with its progressive future.
Tomas J Cantrell was recruited to compose original music for the film that reflected this essential character of the community. The instrumental music in this soundtrack album blends traditional Mexican mariachi styles with symphonic western flavors and contemporary rhythms and sounds.
