Yoshiaki Shigehisa was born in Ube in Yamaguchi, Japan.
In his early twenties he started his career as a jazz pianist. Then he extended his activity in the field of J-Pop as a keyboardist and an arranger. He participated in recordings of many famous artists in Japan.
Nowadays besides giving shows at clubs and concerts, he makes music for TV commercial, theater and animated cartoon. He especially likes jazz and Brazilian music though he has his talent in all genres.
This is Yoshiaki Shigehisa''s first album. He softly sings jazz standards straight to your heart.
