Miriam Carley born in https://www.tradebit.comperary and lived some years in Dublin before her family moved back to https://www.tradebit.comperary where she was raised. As a child all Miriam wanted out of life was to perform and through the years performed in many local productions. She was strongly influenced by musical theatre as her local town of Thurles had a tradition of musical societies in the area.
Once she completed all her studies in college she has bit the bullet and finally pursued a career in music since May 2010. Her voice has always been described as "pure" no taints, what you hear is what you get. Her musical style is a mix of influences. She believes that one''s style and one''s music is indicative of one''s life experience at any given time. Her voice has been described as a mix of Kelly Clarkson, Andrea Corr, Lea Michele (from Glee), Mary Black, Madonna, and Pink.
The Debut EP containing 3 Tracks was released March 2011 while the Album "Fear of the Dark" is slated for release through March-April 2011. The album is a blend of rock, pop and dance with slight rnb influences. The music moves in a natural and flowing manner with some big beats and heartfelt chords. It is not pre-programmed with tricks and samples from amateur or professional software packages. All instruments are played live into a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). This explains why the music feels like it''s directly from the heart of a person and not from within the heart of a computer!!!
The lyrics deal with the emotional experiences of life and allows the listener to easily connect with and take something from the album.
