What does this saying mean?
Owego is the home town of my youth...
Fungi = Fun-guy...
Fungi is a fun way to pay homage to the many guitar players and musicians I knew and met while growing up in the Owego, NY area. There was one Owego, but many guitar players/musicians (the fun-guys). Putting it all together gives the saying: One Fungus, But Many Fungi... One Owego, But Many Owegi...
This album was pretty much written, performed and recorded by Kevin M. Clark a.k.a. Cap''n Kevoid. On Green Little Martians my buddy Big Jim Roaden laid the bass track. On Old Fart Blues another buddy of mine, Mike Barnes, laid the keys track. They made two fun songs even funner. Not only to listen to but also in the joy of friendship and support. Mike Barnes also spent a great deal of time and effort listening to the songs and giving constructive criticism. You can tell the man has spent a life time loving and enjoying guitar and music. Another buddy of mine Dean (Dino) Bagley not only provided support and encouragement for this project (Dino is the one that told me to make CD''s) but he also did the artwork for the project.
