The Sambassadors Of Groove are a community Samba band from Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. We play, we learn, we perform, we have fun!
Formed in 1998, we are a community samba band of drummers and dancers from Leamington Spa in Warwickshire.
We perform across the West Midlands, the UK and Europe.
This CD was created thanks to a grassroots grant from the Heart Of England Community Foundation. All tracks performed by Sambassadors of Groove. This music is a mixture of traditional African, Brazilian and Cuban rhythms.

Surdo (sir-doo) - The roaring bass drums that form the foundation of the groove.
Caxia (cash-a) - The snare drums that keep you marching on.
Timba (tim-ba) - The hand drums that add a splash of syncopation.
