"Forgiven " was written as she was having a conversation with her brother about a friend of his that didn''t feel he was worthy of relationship with God, because of the things he had done in his past. In "Forgiven", Wendy tells of how God is not worried with what we have done in our past. He sent His Son for the purpose of our forgivness, knowing that we needed a savior. He loves us regardless of the things we''ve done. The song "Overcome" is dedicated to her triumph over uterine cancer. Her faith has brought her through, and showed her that with God, she can overcome anything life brings her way!
Wendy has a heart for the poor, and hurting, the drug addict, and the prostitute. She enjoys singing on the streets of the city in hopes to bring a message of encouragement to those who deem themselves hopeless. It is her heart''s desire that you will be uplifted as you listen to each and every song!
