From Detroit, MI. originally, "Tony Love" moved to L.A. and toured the world with the likes of Howard Hewett, LL Cool J, Norman Brown, Luther Vandross and En Vougue before moving to Atlanta, where he toured as the first bassist with the giant super singing group "N-SYNC". Since then he has racked up countless recording credits playing guitar and bass with Pink, Lade Bac, Corey, Rasheeda, Pastor Troy, Keith Sweat, UGK, Mac 10, Lil Zane, Trick Daddy, Lil Wayne and The Big Tymers, just to name a few. He is a seasoned Veteran with multiple styles, Hip Hop/R&B, Classic soul, Rock & Blues.
This debut CD exemplifies his smooth guitar, bass and vocal textures. The CD was produced, performed, written and arranged by Tony Love. Track #2, "This One''s For The Playa''s", features "The Maxx" horn section and the hottest drummer in the United States "Little John Roberts" on drums and percussion, he''s performed and recorded with these legends and Grammy winners; Musiq, George Duke, Janet Jackson, George Benson, Rochelle Farrell and Norman Brown, just to name a few, "Whew"!! "This ones for the Playa''s" is a tribute to most of the classic soul live bands that Tony learned to play by listening to. Many of these classic soul acts are mentioned by name in this very funky sort of DC/Go-Go like tune, "Check it out".
The CD is a collection of songs that have been recorded over time in Atlanta Georgia when Tony could find time in between his busy session work and live performances. With a message of love, it has a timeless classic R&B feel to the overall project. Love for your fellow man, the love of music, singing and playin of instruments, guitar, bass, drums and keyboards.
