Details:
TWO PART INVENTION is a duet of flute and guitar, performing a wide repertoire ranging from Elizabethan ballads to modern commissioned works. "This combination of flute and guitar...is a winning one," hails Allentown''s Morning Call, and praises their "lovely, goosebump-inducing performances" as well as their "great skill and musicality." Creatively programmed concerts may blend Bach''s baroque mastery with contemporary Argentine tangos, or feature original arrangements of historical Moravian music, classics from the great guitar virtuosos of the 19th century, dances from around the globe, or more. Their first CD recording, a selection of flute and guitar music from Latin America, is now available.
