Till Seven is a recent label-free band which releases music under personal management since 3 years. Till Seven is formed in 2008 and in this same year they released their album `Still Around´ of which they sold 800 examples. In 2009 Till Seven released their single ´Eleven´ which has already been downloaded for over a 1000 times. This spring they will release their new EP called: ‘Bees, Branches and a Butterfly’.
Till Seven consists of 6 enthusiastic young people who share their passion for music. The catchy, recognizable and sometimes confronting lyrics are beautifully framed by a variety of instruments and voices. Sometimes a little bit harsh with electric guitar and solid drums, but also simple and modest with acoustic guitar,
ukulele and blues harp. Moreover also abundant with beautiful solo’s by the trumpet and other surprising instruments. Altogether it’s complemented by an alternate use of different vocals which converge harmoniously, and by bold compositions with dissonances and time changes.
The songs of Till Seven are about life as we know it. De good, but also the less sides of it. And everything sung and played out of the musicians hearts, in order to enter the hearts of the audience.
The music of Till Seven is inspired by bands such as Racoon, Belle and Sebastian, The Kooks, Angus and Julia Stone, Jack Johnson and Damien Rice.
