Joee has fronted three major bands. Abbey Booth, a band which he formed in 2000 became hugely popular in the Los Angeles scene, drawing large and loyal audiences, selling out famous venues and generating a good deal of record company interest. In 2003, Joee formed Grand Daddy Purple, a great band that sky-rocketed for a while on the strength of Joee’s songs and allowed them to tour through Europe. In 2006 The Joe Corso Band was formed. The band released their first and only self-titled album in 2007 which sold out.
Many publications have featured Joee. Most recently he was chosen as Pick of the Week by LA Weekly, spotlighted by the Malibu Times, and nominated for “Best Act in Los Angeles.”
