Born in Vancouver, Canada, J Graham had an interest in music from an early age. At age 12, he started playing around with the keyboard and composed his first simple song for fun. At age 14, he began recording his keyboard compositions using MIDI on the home computer and began adding multiple tracks, including percussion, strings, and organ. In junior high school, he joined the school band and learned bass guitar. Later, with a few high school friends he played in the rock band “Deviant Devoid”, playing bass guitar, singing, and also composing songs. After the band separated, J Graham continued making compositions on the keyboard, bass, and also began playing guitar. In 2000, he wrote the “collective Works of Ecoworkforce” and obtained his first copyright. In 2004, after completing his graduate degree in GIS, he moved to California. He continued to write music for fun in his spare time, and in 2010 founded his own company J Graham Mediaworks to publish and copyright his musical compositions. In 2010, he wrote songs for the “Sands of Time” album, where he plays all the instrument parts himself and sings all the vocal tracks, using multi-track recording software. By himself, J Graham was able to achieve that classic rock sound and become his own band. In March 2011, he published the popular album “Sands of Time” and is currently developing songs for a second classic rock album.
