Details:
VC for the World is a song project dedicated to helping those in need. Originally conceived and recorded by a group of Ventura County Musicians, we are continuing the tradition, spreading the love, and pulling together to help once more. All proceeds from this song go directly to the American Red Cross.

This song features a group of amazingly talented singers and musicians coming together. Leading the vocal ensemble are the incomparable Delaney Gibson (https://www.tradebit.com), and the amazing Alan Thornhill (https://www.tradebit.com), both local legends of the Ventura County music scene. The song was written by Craig Huston and was Produced, Arranged and Recorded by the multi-talented Tim Frantz, owner of Mountain Dog Music Studios (https://www.tradebit.com). Tim selflessly devoted his time, energy and immense talents to make this come together, and deserves an extra special thanks for all his efforts.

Performers featured:

Delaney Gibson: Lead Vocals. Delaney is currently in New York city, expanding her musical horizons and promoting her newest album, "Hurricanes and Forget-Me-Nots". "If this record doesn’t bring Gibson to the forefront of the singer-songwriter circuit, the genre should be re-examined — songs like these with a voice like hers are rare." The Ventura County Reporter https://www.tradebit.com

Alan Thornhill: Lead Vocals. Currently in Ojai, CA, Alan''s recent album "Sittin'' Out the Rain" was Mavric Music Award''s Album of the Year. On his musical views, Alan has this to say: Music for me is one thread that has helped to hold things together in times when there seemed to be much that was so uncertain in the world. It''s difficult at times to figure out which way to point ones'' feet, and to go in a direction that might make a difference and some sort of sense. Sometimes it feels like the best thing we could do would be to just stop everything, and all sit down together and maybe rethink what we''ve been doing all this time, and why...?.
I know we are capable of great things, more than we have even imagined . We could stand to spend a lot more time and energy focusing on what we all know is the right thing. It is a simple matter of choice. https://www.tradebit.com
