Ever since Shayna can remember, she has had one dream. A single flame burning beneath her that guided every choice she has made in her life thus far.
Shayna grew up in an extremely passionate and musical family. Her father is a seventh generation Cantor, while her mother is a practicing lawyer and ballerina. She is blessed with two younger brothers that play every instrument from tenor sax, drums, guitar, and ukulele to banjo and piano.
Shayna firmly believe that everyone has a path in life. A road where choices can be made, and hills can be surpassed. With a long line of musicians in her family, each coming closer and closer to sharing their love of music with as many people as possible, she feel that it is both her destiny and her duty to follow this incredible blood line of talent and share her vision of the world with you all.
Shayna began singing before she could talk. She danced around the living room of her house as soon as she could walk. Music embodies Shayna''s soul, and she lives and breathes it at every moment. Shayna began playing piano at the ripe of 5. At the age of 11 Shayna attended Denver School of the Arts in Colorado as a Vocal Major and began songwriting that same year. She taught herself guitar, and would feed off of any chance to be on stage and share her stories. Shayna was on the ABC Prime Time television show High School Musical; Get in the Picture and was featured in a music video in the end credits of High School Musical; Senior Year in theatres. In December of 2010 Shayna''s debut album entitled "Painted Blue" (a CD consisting of 11 original songs) was released! You won''t regret diving head first into the music and stories of this up and coming artist.
