Sweet Ether are a Brighton based, four piece Alternative Hard Rock band. Creating a sound with dark, dynamic atmospherics, coupled with heavy, driving riffs and a strong sense of melody, they have been busy building a buzz around their home town and the South Coast. Drawing influences from artists including Alice In Chains, Soundgarden and Tool, they produce honest music and deliver an intense live show.
''Forced to Begin'' was recorded in December 2010 with producer Neak Menter (Funeral for a Friend/Sikth/The Joy Formidable) in Wales and has artwork designed by Mark Wilkinson (Iron Maiden/Judas Priest/The Darkness). It is the follow up to the bands 2009 self-titled debut, and sees a development and progression in their sound. They have so far spent 2011 constantly gigging across the UK and are about to embark on a tour in support of their new release.
