Four young men, coming from four every different acts and bands, formed
Gran Salvation in the early days of 2011. After years of playing in different bands sharing gigs,
promoting eachother''s acts, being part of the audience at eachother''s shows and supporting eachother''s bands along the way, the four got together in the studio during a freezing cold February weekend in Oslo to play music together.
The band dug into some of lead singer Lars Carlsson''s (The Carlsson Experience) material, and the cold weekend resulted in the recording of three of Carlsson''s songs; Walk Away, Last Man Standing and Snow Falls.
Lars'' originally all-acoustic tunes, when shaped by such different musicians as heavy rock bass player Torbjørn Rogde (Apes From Space), rock guitarist Heine Aardalen (Denver Daddy) and pop/folkrock artist Håvard Bævre (Baunen/Hermit), have become powerful, melodic, guitar driven gems that we hope you all enjoy!
