Fear the Fiasco is a four-piece progressive rock band from the Northern Bay Area, Ca. The band consists of Tony Wilson (vocals, keyboard), Dustin Farwell (guitars, vocals), Jake Williams (bass), and Trevor Boosinger (Drums). They incorporate an eclectic mixture of influences including experimental rock, mathcore, metal, hardcore, punk, jazz, and blues. They are characterized by the counterbalancing vocals of Tony Wilson and Dustin Farwell, as well as their technical, polyrhythmic instrumentation.
Fear the Fiasco was formed in late 2007 when Drummer Trevor Boosinger and guitarist/vocalist Dustin Farwell split from the short-lived band “The Variable.” Eager to play a heavier, progressive style of music, Trevor and Dustin each recruited the remaining components to form the group. Trevor brought in long-time friend and Bass player Jake Williams, while Dustin consorted vocalist Tony Wilson
The band has established local success in the Bay Area underground music scene, becoming one of the area''s most recognized underground rock bands. In 2008, they received the North Bay Underground’s “Most Requested Band” title in the Road to Rockstar competition held by local radio station KXFX 101.7 the FOX. The band has opened for well known acts such as Litany for the Whale, Drowning Pool, Framing Hanley, Phantom Communiqué, Royal Bliss and Opiate for the Masses.
