The White Bitch has toured with TV on the Radio (at the band''s request) and have also opened for Of Montreal, Girl Talk, Little Dragon, Elf Power, Tilly and the Wall, Peelander Z and many, many other great bands. WB often plays at N.O.''s annual VooDoo Fest and at many big, fun Mardi Gras Balls. The band has been nominated several times as ''Best Electronic Act'' by Gambit (though we''re definitely more rock), and have appeared on several compilation records. The current 7-piece band includes a wicked horn section, plus 55-year-old "psychedelic guru" Ray Bong on the noise toyz. In the band''s spare time, The White Bitch serve as backing band for the Fleur De Tease burlesque troupe''s celebrated Prince Tribute show.
"The White Bitch''s Brass Balls" (named after The WBs new horn section) is the second album of the artist''s ten year career. It is the first White Bitch recording to feature a full live band, that also includes drummer Keith Hajjar, bassist Mike "Bones" Miller and keyboardist Lucas Davenport, all of The New Orleans Bingo Show (though we had em first!).
